Flour and Oatmeal. Tips for storing flour and oatmeal

Do you love using flour or oatmeal in the kitchen but you can't ever use it fast enough? If you have a problem keeping your wheat products fresh, keep it stored in the freezer in a sealed container - it will last months longer.

A couple more general tips for keeping flour fresh read as follows:

  • Keep your flour fresh from worms by adding a few basil leaves. Add new basil leaves every few months.

  • Keep flour fresh by storing in a tin or plastic container with a tight lid.
