Witch hazel for removing blood stains

Submitted by Wendy Lukowiz

For removing even SET-IN blood stains....I discovered this by accident:

If it is small, tie an elastic band around the area--as if you were doing tie-dye, and immerse it in Witch Hazel for a few hours. I had a skirt that had a dark blood stain which came out after doing that. The skirt sat in my closet for 2 years until I did that! I was JUST about to throw it out!
