Tips for cleaning wood floors

When you are cleaning wood floors, never use a product that needs to be washed off with water. Water and soaps are going to leave films on your hardwood floors that you are not going to like. You will find that you will just have to wash it again.

If you find that you do have water marks on your wood floor, here are a couple of tips that should help:

  • You can clean up water marks on wood floors by rubbing the area with a bit of toothpaste and then buffing with a clean dry cloth.
  • Mayonnaise is a similar product that you can use to clean up water marks on your wood floors.
