Stainless steel worktops and sinks tend to have streaks on them after cleaning. So a simple little tip to remove those steaks is to rub them with olive oil along the grain of the surface. It will remove the streaks.

Wow! thanks! I have had a stainless steel topped oven for 3 years, and never has it looked so good! it frustrates me so much, i'm so glad i finally got round to looking on the net for tips!
