If you have a leather chair, couch, purse or pair of shoes (just about any type of hard leather) that you want to preserve all you have to do is coat it in petroleum jelly with a soft cloth. Leaving this one for a few hours and wiping it off with a clean soft cloth your leather will be softer and you will restore the oils to the leather that it needs to last much longer.
