My husband and I travel frequently for our interests (biology & archaeology), usually by truck, so need effective storage for regular use and trips. We use old canvas briefcases, available at garage sales for a dollar or two, to store supplies for first aid, tools, books and games, emergency gear & survival supplies , small projects, etc. The bags zip close, stash well, and are easily changed for new uses.
