Ok! When i was younger my dad used this tick on me. I had the hic ups and he told me to tell him everytime I thought I was going to hic up right before I actually did.
He said that he would give me a nickle for every time I knew a hic up was coming and I was right. I was so busy concentrating on earning money that the hic ups went away.
