Remove price sticker glue from metal items

To remove price sticker glue from metal items use baby oil on the affected area, rub vigorously with a cotton bud.

I'm enthusiastic about BMXing, and when I purchased a new frame for my BMX I was disappointed to find that there were stickers on the frame.

I used a mixture of:

600ml water
10 squirts of Window/Surface cleaner
4 tablespoons of dish washing liquid
2 tablespoons of salt

I then soaked the frame continuously for about 2-3 minutes and used a scrubbing pad to gently rub the surface where the stickers had been removed and then continued to do so more vigorously.

The residue is completely removed and no paint damage was done to the frame! I would imagine this would work for most other forms of metal.

I always use WD-40 to remove stickers. Just squirt it on and wipe off after a minute or so. All the sticky residue is removed!

I bought tea bags in a this cute metal container, and got an idea to add a cute label and use it in my kitchen. The glue from the store label was stuck all over it, and I had been scrubbing it with alcohol, nail polish remover and dish soap until my arm was numb...until I saw this...THANK YOU

Couldnt get the glue residue from a sticker off the outside of a shiny metal lightshade - tried nail varnish remover with no effect. Put WD 40 on and left it for a minute, and it dissolved the glue residue.
