For those with dark hair that is oily and can't use the baby powder, Dawn dish detergent cuts the oil build up as well. Wash hair with Dawn, rinse thoroughly, then apply your normal shampoo.

I gave this a try and I am hooked now! I usually use a clarifying shampoo after to remove build up! Thanks for the tip!
