Make a paste of lemon juice and salt and rub with a soft cloth, rinse with water, and dry. Or use a slice of lemon sprinkled with baking soda. Rub brass with the lemon slice, rinse with water, and dry.

MY MUM GAVE ME SOME TOBBACCO SCALES THAT MY DAD GOT FOE THEIR ANNIVERSARY MORE THAT 30 YEARS AGO, SHE JUT GAVE THEM TO ME HAVINN NEVER CLEANED THEM! I CAN SOLELY RECOMEND LEMON AND SALT. I HAVE USED BRASSO AND ALTHO IT DOES WORK IT TAKES FAR LONGER THAN THE LEMON AND SALT
