Tomato stains and the sun

If after washing yu find that your tomato stain remains. Hanging the wet item out in the sun will remove any left over stain as the sun bleaches out the stain.

My son dropped a plate of spaghetti on my white throw rug, we took the rug outside and placed it in the sun and the stain is now gone.

Tomato stains are UV stains which is why most stain remover products don't work. UV stains fade with UV light (Sun). With the tecno world we live in people forget about simply hanging clothes on a line.
