Don't discard drawstring bags that are in some hotel rooms for laundry. You don't have to use that hotel laundry bag just for laundry. Take the plastic drawstring bag with you and use it to hold your trash until you get to a garbage can. Or use it to sort your clothes when you pack. For example, you can shove all your underwear or socks in the bag.
