Ginger will take the pain away as well. I take about a quarter of a teaspoon of ground ginger, it doesn't have to be fresh ginger - just out of a jar will do, put some sugar over it to sweeten the taste. Pour it onto your tongue and wash it down with milk to help take the heat away. It works almost every time and it even takes the pain of migraine away. Not the spaced-out feelings but the pain anyway!
