Make your kids a simple but effective toy that costs next to nothing. Cut four half inch slits in the end of a drinking straw and fold the pieces back. Now mix half a cup of washing up liquid with one and a half cups of warm water.
Dip the end of the straw into the solution and blow gently through the end that has not been cut, to make bubbles.
