Handling foreign currency during your travels can be difficult, especially if you pass through several countries on your trip. To help keep your money organized, slip some plastic sandwich bags in your purse or travel bag. You can use them to hold the various currencies and keep them separate from each other. If you pass through a country again on your way back, just reach for the appropriate bag.
Too much spare change can be a hassle. But, when you're traveling, you might need dimes and quarters for bus or train fare or to make a call from a pay phone. Try storing your dimes and quarters in a used film canister. It'll cut down on the clanking, and you'll always know where to find change when you need it.
