To pick up glass that is all over the floor use a handful of wet paper towels. This will get the little slivers that you can't even see.
To pick up pieces of glass, use a few cotton balls and rub over the entire area to pick up tiny shards of glass.
A piece of bread rubbed over the floor will pick up pieces of glass that you can't see or pick up with your fingers.
