Clean and deodorize spills, even pet accidents that can happen, on your carpet by soaking up as much of the spill as possible by blotting the area with a paper towel or kitchen rag. Clean the stain according to the carpet manufacturers directions and allow to dry. When the area is dry, sprinkle liberally with Baking Soda and let sit for 15 minutes before vacuuming it up. It the smell still persists, apply additional baking soda, letting it sit for a few hours and then vacuum up as usual.
