i tried, sprinkled cinnamon powder, the ants had a merry time playing holi i guess they thoroughly enjoyed and now they visit me throughout nonstop.

I heard sprinkling black pepper will kill the queen ant and help get rid of the rest. I sprinkled it in various places; it's been a few days and it seems to be working well. I've tried alot of other things, so I'm hopeful this will work.
