Butter. Tips to remove Butter stains
If you have found a butter stain on your upholstery, use this tip to work out that greasy stain for a great clean. It does not matter if the stain is fresh or old, these cleaning tips will work out that stain great. If the accident has just happened you, first need to blot the upholstery to get out any excess amounts of butter in your upholstery. If the stain is fresh or dried, you now need to spray the stain with clear water. Blot the stained area again to bring out more of the butter from your stained upholstery. Make a solution of water and a few drops of clear bleach free dish liquid and spray the stained area. Blot using a towel or a paper towel until you are unable to bring out any more of the stain or until the stain is gone. Rinse again spraying clear water over the stained area, blotting to bring out the detergent in the upholstery and any remaining butter stains. Rinse the upholstery again, but this time using a half and half mixture of vinegar and water, clear white vinegar is what you should be using. Spray the upholstery; dabbing and blotting to bring out any, remaining butter stains in the upholstery.Repeat as needed to get any remaining stains out of your upholstery.
