Ice cream. Tips to remove Ice cream stains on upholstery

If you have a fresh ice cream stain on your upholstery, be sure to scrape off the excess ice cream from the upholstery. Use a spoon or a paper towel to get the excess liquid and ice cream off the upholstery then you are ready to fight that stain.

Ice cream does come in so many flavors and colors, be sure to repeat any steps that are successful in getting out your ice cream stain.

No matter if your stain was fresh or dried, spray the ice cream stained area with alcohol. Blotting off the excess moisture and repeat as needed, changing your towel so you are bringing out excessive moisture and coloring from the upholstery.

Spray a mixture of water and clear, bleach free detergent on the stained area. Blot up the excess moisture, without rubbing or stretching the upholstery where you have the ice cream stain. Repeat as long as you are bringing out the stain from the ice cream.

Rinse the upholstery using a spray of clear water, dabbing and blotting to bring out the excess liquid and the suds from the upholstery ice cream stain.

Rinse the upholstery again using a half and half vinegar and water mixture. A white vinegar is best in this solution.
