Gravy. Tips to remove Gravy stains on upholstery
Gravy does come in lots of flavors and in lots of colors, use these cleaning tips when you need to get a gravy stain out of your upholstery. The first thing you should be doing is scraping or wiping the excess moisture and gravy from the upholstery. Wet the gravy stain with a bit of alcohol on a cotton ball and dab at the area, breaking up the gravy stain. Repeat as long as you are bringing out more of the gravy stain. Apply a few drops of dry cleaning solution to the stained area. Dabbing the area with a clean towel to bring out the coloring from the upholstery from the gravy. Repeat as long as you are bringing out more of the gravy stain. Wash the fabric with a water and clear bleach free detergent, spraying the fabric and dabbing it off. Continue doing this until your gravy stain is gone or you can’t bring out any more of the stain. Rinse the upholstery gravy stained area with a clear water spray. Spray the area, dabbing and blotting to ensure that the gravy stained area is cleaned, and all the suds are out of the upholstery. Using a mixture of vinegar and water, a half and half mixture, spray the gravy stained area and blot until the stain is completely gone. Your upholstery should be about dry to the touch before you are done blotting this stained area.
