Chap stick. Tips to remove Chap stick stains from clothes and fabric

Treat Chap Stick stains with a pre treatment spray or stain stick treatment. Be sure to cover the stained area well. let this sit for about ten or fifteen minutes.

Apply a liquid laundry detergent to the stained area and work it in with your fingertips or a soft scrub brush. Let this sit for another ten minutes and then launder as usual.

Do not dry the fabric in the dryer. Let the fabric air dry and check for the stain again.

If the stain still remains on the fabric, check the tag for instructions about using bleach. Soak the fabric in a bucket of water adding bleach. Soak the fabric for about ten minutes.

Reapply the liquid laundry detergent to the stained area and then launder again. Repeat as needed until the stain is gone.

For a hard to get out chap stick stain, put the stain side of the fabric down and apply a few drops of dry cleaning solution. Let the fabric dry and then launder as usual.
