Grease. Tips to remove Grease stains on clothes and fabric
Grease stains will vary from the very small dots on clothing to large spills on fabrics. Using the cleaning tips listed below you can save your fabrics and clothes from grease stains. If you are working on a clumpy grease stain, or a hardened grease stain, scrape off as much of the grease from the fabric as you can with out stretching the material. If it is butter or hard grease, scrape off the grease without making the stain larger. Use a pre treatment stain stick or spray and cover the grease stain well. Let this sit for about ten minutes. Apply a clear liquid laundry detergent over the stained area and work it in well with your fingers or a soft scrub brush. Let this sit on the material for another ten minutes. Rinse out the fabric well, and you will notice the grease stain will be lessening or gone. If you have some stain left in the fabric, read the fabric tag to see if you can use bleach on this item. Soak the article in water, bleach mixture for ten or fifteen minutes, and then rinse again. Let the article air dry and re inspect for the grease stain. If you have a grease stain still, put the stain side down on a paper towel and apply a few drops of dry cleaning solution. Let the material dry and launder as usual.
