Milk . Tips to remove Milk stains on clothes and fabric
Milk stains come at the oddest times, usually when you are having breakfast and heading out the door. If possible, soak the garment in a bucket of water when you don’t have time to clean it right now so it will be easier to clean later. If your milk stain is dried on, you should use a butter knife or your fingernails and scrape off as much of the dried on milk as you can. Milk stains will be a bit crusty so scraping it off will allow you to focus on just the deep stained areas when cleaning the fabric. Treat the stained area with a pre treatment stain or stick and let this sit for about ten minutes. Using a clear non bleach detergent, cover the stained area of the garment and rub it in with your fingertips, or a soft brush. Soak your garment in a bucket of cool soapy water for a few hours or even overnight. Rinse the garment out using warm water and recheck the stained area. If the stain still remains pre treat again and soak. If the garment fabric allows, use a mixture of water and bleach or water and a fabric all color safe bleach and soak the garment well to help loosen tough milk stains.
