Sauces. Tips to remove Sauces stains on carpets
Sauce stains on your carpet do not have to be permanent, use these tips to clean your carpet: Wipe up the excess liquid pushing the liquid inward not spreading the stain. Scrape up using a butter knife or similar item. Using a towel, wet your towel with rubbing alcohol, dab your wet towel on the saucey stain and continue to do this as long as you are bringing up the stain. If you have not brought up all the stain, you can move on to the next step. Make a mixture of a cup of water and a tablespoon of clear bleach free dish liquid. Spray this on the stained area and dab up with your paper towel. Continue to do this until you are not bringing up any more of the stain. Rinse the stained area using a clear cool water and dab with a paper towel. After you have brought out all the suds and you don’t see any more sauce coming up on your towel let the area dry for a bit. If you still see some of the sauce stain in your carpet, use your towel and spray the area with peroxide. Dab at the area and work the peroxide into the stain. Let this dry for about half an hour and blot up with your towel. Repeat as needed until the stain is gone, letting the peroxide dry a bit between blotting.
