Salad oil. Tips to remove Salad oil stains on carpets
Salad oil comes in many different colors and types. If you have found a salad dressing spill on your carpeting, you can get it out using these methods: Using a clean cloth wet with rubbing alcohol, dab at the stained area. Do not pour the alcohol on the carpeting but just eep dabbing at the stain. If the spot is not removed, use a mixture of two cups of water and a tablespoon of clear dish liquid. Spray this on the carpet and dab up with a paper towel. Repeat this until you don’t find any more of the salad oil coming up on the towel. Rinse the stained area with clear water and paper towels. Bring out all the suds and leave your carpet to dry a while. If you still see any coloring from the salad oil move onto the next step. Spray the area with liquid peroxide and work into the carpet using your fingers. Let this sit for about half an hour and dab up the moisture. Repeat as needed to bring up any trace coloring of the salad dressing.
