General stain removal advice

When applying any stain removal solution to your fabric. It is usually best to attack the stain from the back of the fabric. In doing this the stain will not spread deeper into the fabric.

Use a dabbing motion rather than a rubbing one working from the outside in.

For non greasy stains, use cold water. Hot water sets the stain.
