If your rice is scorched or burned you can take that taste out of your rice easily by using a piece of bread. Just lay a piece of bread on the rice (in a fresh pan or bowl) and cover it for a few minutes. The bread will soak up the burnt smell and taste and your rice will be fresh tasting for supper. If your rice has been sitting a few minutes you can put it in the microwave for a minute with a slice of bread for the same results.
