Outdoors Gardening in windy areas

If you five in a windy area, or your garden is plagued by animals, take a large tin can and cut off both ends. Place it around the plant and push it down an inch or so into the soil. This will protect your plants and also work as a water well, feeding the plant directly without allowing the water to spread into the garden.
