Clean Coffee Pot with White vinegar

I usually buy a bottle of white vinigar and run it through the coffee pot one time. Then I dump it out and run water through it 2 or 3 times to get rid of any lingering vinigar smell or taste.

This works well for cleaning a stained coffee pot and it helps to remove nasty tastes from mineral buildup and such in the coffee maker and pot.

I do the same thing-I use the vinegar and run it through and run the water through 3 times-except I let the vinegar sit in the well of the pot all day(from my morning coffee till I set it up at night)-it really loosens all the gunk(water minerals) even better to run a bottle brush through the well(if possible) The formula I use it 10 cups of water to 2 cups of white vinegar.
