I wanted to put a finish on a large floor but had no wax applicator. So, I made my own:
I took my vacuum cleaners wands and wide nozzle, safety-pinned a terry cloth rag around the nozzle and, voila! - I had a really fine wax applicator. It did a fabulous job.
