If you have spilt nail varnish onto your carpet and catch it when it is still wet it can be removed by applying "Swarfega" (hand cleanser for Mechanics) and scrubbing with a nail brush until removed, once completed the effected area should be sponged with warm soapy water.
Swarfega does have a distinctive smell and may need shampooing to remove it or Fabreeze.
Your tip for removing spilt nail varnish has changed my life! I am such a clutz thankyou soooooooooooooooooo much ive tried everything, yet what u suggested is just genius!

I spilled bright purple nail polish on my light gray carpet. I did not have the soap that you recommended but I grabbed the Lava soap from the garage. After scrubbing the soap in with a brush I then broke out the steam cleaner to suck up all the soap. The carpet looks good as new. Thanks.
