My daughter put Vaseline all over her hair! What a nightmare!!! I tried everything! Eggs, Corn Starch, Corn Meal, Baking powder, Dawn dish soap, Ajax dish soap, Clarifying shampoo and conditioner, I dried hair with blow dryer and patted hair with paper towels!!! Still nothing!
I heard of baby oil but did not think it could work! Finally after 50 hair washes and 2 days I tried the Baby oil. I put it in combed it threw with a comb washed it with clarifying shampoo repeated this twice and i must say it worked 95%. I think one more wash and it will be 100% so skip everything and go strait to the BABY OIL!!!!

I tried all sorts of stuff on my 11 year olds hair to get the vaseline out....vinegar, clairyfing shampoos, baking soda, Dawn liquid dish soap, corn meal & etc. After all day of trying stuff.
.....This is what worked to get it out......
I sprayed some dry shampoo all on her roots & hair. Then I put baby oil all over her scalp & hair.....then mixed Suave daily clarifying shampoo & TRESemme deep cleansing shampoo together & she really rubbed her scalp & hair with no water added for about 3 min. or so. Next she scrubbed & rinsed her scalp & hair with very warm water. Then she again, 2 more times, washed her hair with both the Suave & TRESemme shampoo......rinsed with water....Next she washed her hair 2 more times but I added pure baking soda to the mixture of both of the shampoos to make a paste.....rinsed....She rubbed out the excess water & blew dry....Her hair looks AWESOME!!!!
